SHIPPING RATES FOR NATIONAL ORDERS

Customers can choose a variety of rates depending on their preferred carrier and shipping duration. Fitzgerald Conservatory offers USPS and UPS as shipping carrier options.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Shipping times range depending on the mail carrier chosen by customer. Generally, please allow 5-21 business days for shipping, depending on the country of destination.

Duties and taxes are not included in the total during checkout. They are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and import taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery.

Fitzgerald Conservatory accepts no risk of merchandise loss due to international shipment and will not issue a refund. All risk passes to the customer upon our delivery to the carrier. The customer may be subject to import duties and taxes once a shipment reaches the destination country. Additional customs clearance charges must be paid by the customer; Fitzgerald Conservatory has no authority over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

International orders may be subject to customs clearance procedures which may cause delays beyond original delivery estimates. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; we advise our customers to contact the local customs office for more information. When ordering from Fitzgerald Conservatory, the customer is considered the “importer of record” and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the customer is receiving the goods.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS

If you choose to refuse your shipments from Fitzgerald Conservatory, you will be responsible for any duties, taxes and/or custom charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Fitzgerald Conservatory.
